The Social Coder
Empowering The Whole Person: Technical - Relational - Competent
Hi, I'm Barry, and I am a social coder. In my 30s, I made a major career shift to become a software engineer after many years in Christian ministry and non-profit work. It has been an amazing and unexpected change and I'm happy to be on this journey!
My passion to help others become better versions of themselves powers everything I do, including building software. I want to see others thrive in the tech space by combining technical skills with the power of communication and emotional intelligence. Everything from web development fundamentals like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to the soft skills that help you succeed in any team or project are crucial for growth. I hope can be a resource or encouragement for personal and professional growth. Keep learning, stay curious, and thanks for stopping by!My Journey
